Plinston Hall is a modern conference centre at the heart of the town's community. Here is the home of exhibitions, fairs, conferences, concerts, theatrical presentations, and at least 25 local clubs. The main hall has places for 296 participants, and is equipped with a bar at the side, opening out onto the main hall as required. The first floor Gallery, seen above, with the flags, is a comfortable room, which will provide a sociable place to meet throughout the congress. Looking out, one can see the gardens and the main green in Letchworth. There is a small service area for drinks. Elsewhere there are rooms for additional meetings, depending on the requirements.
