British Esperanto Congress

Excursions
Monday is excursion day. Excursions are organised so that participants can feel that the visit to the congress town is not just to take part in the congress, but also to do a little local sight-seeing and enjoy the presence of other Esperanto speakers. Many fresh ideas occur just in such get-togethers.
The Gallery will be open for a two-hour period in the morning, giving a place for leisurely chat. We are still working on possibilities for excursions. One possibility is to walk around the town, visiting places in and around the town itself, with prearranged places to meet up for drinks, food and entertainment, so that those who do not wish to walk can drink, eat and be entertained with us. On other possibilities we would rather not announce anything until final preparations have been made.
